PS vs. HP

i noticed in the listing of engines that the US models are listed in HP and the non US are PS. Is there a difference in power? ie. 200hp vs. 200ps?
i ask because i have the h22a4 (200hp) in my 99 prelude and am buying a 92 prelude with an h22a (220ps). Thanks, Blue

Stupid hybrid

Hello. I have a 1996 Civic with a b16a motor swap in it. It runs like sh1t, so I'm trying to fix it, and I need to figure out exactly what model it came out of. I thought it was out of another Civic, but apparently not. The info I have is that is a B16a. Next to that on the engine block were the numbers s80-2029037 with a barcode above the numbers on the same little "sticker" for lack of better words. The intake manifold has "PGM-FI" on it and it looks like it has a hole drilled into it next to where it bolts up to the block about the size of a quarter. I suspect it is for another injector, but I don't know if the hole is supposed to be there. I'll post up pics in a few minutes to help. This car is deffinitely a project!
Thanks.

yea

it could be from an xsi integra or a few other model tegs but they should still all work out.. i did the wiring conversion myself and let me tell u it wasnt fun
so the second time i went to hasport! i sent my harness in i think it was 250$ to get it converted and boy was it worth it so if u have never done the wiring b4 i suggest u send it to hasport cause there is no differance between the b16 wiring in a sir and a xsi.... those are the only model b16 that have the pgfi on the intake unless the person u got it from swapped the mani.. then u would have a problem but im sure they didnt so good luck hope everything works out for ya

H22A and F20B

My engine in my 95 accord popped on me today. I was looking to upgrade since I had the puny F22b. I was wondering if any knew if the H22a or the F20b would bolt up to my car? Obviosly I would be purchasing a matching tranny....

Thanks for the codes, but where do I find the code on the engine? Just bought the car today from a dealer who had no idea about the car or engine. I decided to buy it because it could smoke its tires 20'.

Im confused here... Could someone shed some light for me?

Well at first when I first got my 94 DC1 Honda Integra, I did some research and I thought the motor was SOHC ZC, because its 1590cc, SOHC, twin carbs and it all added up and made sense.

But now looking at this engine chart, the "D16A6- 1.6L SOHC 88-91 Civic Si/ CRX Si (108hp)" meets the description as well, except the year and car model isnt right.

So is it a SOHC ZC engine? Or the D16A6? Or am I just a complete n00b? lol
