cam seal question

my cam seal is leaking on my teggy and I was just wondering if i could pull the gear off of the cam and replace the seal. or would that screw up my timing. I really don't want to pull it all apart. thanks

Replacing it shouldn't impact timing at all, as long as you don't turn the cam or crank after you remove the timing belt.

The cam plug is on the other side... You simply take the valve cover off and then take the bolts off of the cam bridge and pop it out n swap in the new one make sure you have some gasket sealant for the vc gasket and u should be good to go.
