Car has not moved in 3 years
hello. i am trying to pick up a 93 civic.
the only problem is that it hasnt ran in 3 years . the lady is giving it to me becuase she is tired of looking at it.
she says the only thing wrong with it is that it makes a clicking noise when turning( my guess is the cvjoints/axle).
i am in memphis and the car is in atlanta (380 miles)
what do i need to do to get this car to make the drive?
i figure an oil change and a new batterey just to get it to memphis.
ANY tips would be greatly appreciated

Since it hasn't ran in 3 years and it's 380 miles away, i would just pull it. it'd be safest. then when you get it home check the whole car for yourself.

tow it. too many headaches to have to do on the spot to try to get it to run. fuel lines are probably gummed up, bad gas in the tank. possibly dry-rotted air filter with critters living in it... etc... Not to mention the axle is probably in worse shape now than when it was last driven.
Car still sounds like a great find and an easy to get it back on the road. Just doubt you will be able to do everything that needs to be done right there on the spot.

Damn nice find, a uhaul and trailer is gonna cost about 300+ dollars, remember you gotta take it back with a full tank of gas. I believe when I was last looking at uhauls they were around 200 dollars for a weekend. Good luck.
