D16Z6 wont start - Honda Forum / Acura Forum

Stock D16Z6 wont start. i have a del sol. Ive recently done a Tune-up including plugs, plug wires, dizzy cap, and rotor button and fuel filter. ICM replaced earlier too cause it died on me. My girlfriends dad has been helping me and we came to the conclusion that it was my main relay, i replaced that but it still wont start. The engine rotates, battery is fine along with the connection. Checked the Coil and it is working. So im getting fuel. But No spark what soever. Also i have two thing that are bugging me; I used to get three beeps when i had the ignition to the on position but im not getting that anymore. and also i was inspecting under the dash and i found a wire which i dont know where it leads to but one end is lose, its a red with with a tag that says "True Igniton On, Hot while cranking". My girlfriends dad says that i should worry about it but my car wont start and we have no idea what it could be at this point. if anyone could give me any kind of help id really appreciate it.

get a wiring diagram. one can be found in the service manual. get a test light, find where youre losing power.

Alright. I need a new dizzy. so im going to Crazy Rays. for those who dont know Crazy rays is a pull it your self junkyard. I just need to know if a D15 Dizzy will be compatible with my D16Z6 cause the majority of civics that they have are D15s. If anyone know id be glad to hear from you. Thanx.

No Dizzies at Crazy Rays. So i bought one off of ebay and i installed it today and it started. Running really well. My exhaust sounds really loud now after a month. Should i be worried. I have a Gay Ass No-Name High Flow Muffer on it. and it was loud enough b4. Its really raspy now. If i need a new muffler then ill have an excuse to buy a high flow cat-back.
