DH racing engines

Does anyone know anything about Dave Hickman Racing engines? The website www.dh-racing.com sells b16a long blocks an ls/vtec long blocks for all motor and turbocharged cars, are these good engines, or are they refurbished or something, i don't really understand why they are so cheap, it says all motor b16a engine, good for 12.5 second 1/4 mile times, longblock only $2500, to me, that's cheap, if anyone knows about this please reply, i was just wondering if these are streetable engines, or drag only. Thanks in advance everyone.

i've never heard of them, though that doesn't mean they build crappy motors. the price seems pretty low IMO. maybe they are selling motors cheap to get the shop going or something.

maybe cause they are charging what they actually should be for a 4 cylinder engine rather than other companies just making insane profits off our asses

other than that..i dunno

their work could be shit
they could have low prices to gain customers
could be alot

All of that seems a little pricey to me, especially the S2000 motor.

Complete swap is $5800 ... which you'd need for 12.5 second passes.

I just talked Dave himself today, and ive never had them not reply to a message sent, although may take some time but when your working it can be hard. Also Ive never heard a complaint and I know personally two people that have used something machined from him, an intake and a pully. No problems. I'll post after I work out a deal and get some gear of my own. Do the whole review thing
