I have a gsr turbo that I had tuned in august. My a/f was 11.8 across the board at full throttle. It had a very smooth curve.
Now I am replacing my clutch so I have my whole engine out of the car. I am also going to put in ARP headstuds which I neglected to do during the build. I figured that while I had the head off I should port match my throttle body to the intake manifold, the intake runners to the head and the exhaust port to the manifold. This should smooth out airflow and produce more power right?
Will I need to be retuned by doing this? it is very xpensive to tune and I have to travel to do so.
Does this sound like a good idea? Will I make more power?
