Exhaust system for VTEC powered Austin Mini

Hi all,

I was searching for a Honda forum and come across this one, im looking for some advise really.....

Im currently building an Austin Mini with a B16A2 conversion. I need to make a custom exhaust for it (Down pipes back) but i am unsure on what diameter to do the exhaust.

Many people have suggested a 2.5" system but im thinking this may be too big, as the standard downpipes are only 2". The engine is standard apart from an Apexi air filter and a Password CF chamber intake.

Any info or suggestions wil be great, if you need anymore information please say.

2.25" or 60mm mandrel bent would be a good way to go.

I can only seem to find 2" and 2.5" exhaust parts. Would 2" be too small and 2.5" be too big? I dont want to be losing any power....

I'll keep looking for 2.25" exhaust parts though!
