Thanks for you fast response...I have 2yrs left in sch & because of my financially decrepit state, lol ! medical school is putting a strain on me, I will only be able to save 1K in 1year . By that time I'll be on my way out of school & will be able to buy a Mugen RR (like one of my friends after he graduated, but I'd boost it though. All wishful thinking - keeps me afloat as a performance enthusiast) or a Subaru STi or a Mitsubishi Evolution.
I'm wondering if I can just get the chiped P28 ecu from those sources I mentioned & just have a tuner tune it therefore replacing their chip. Afterall it's the same OBD1 chipped ecu.
Pretty much my best option is to find the best option with $1800

300hp NA is expensive as fuck and unreliable.
300hp on a boost out of a b20 is cheap(er) and reliable(once you get new sleeves)

Honestly, i cant see throwing anything less than 3k turbo conversion, there was more things i left out.
IMO, i would save that 1800 or put it towards wheels, suspension, brakes..etc. Thats another important part in all builds
