Im from Philippines. my brother gave me this honda civic 97 lxi How would i know the type of engine of this car? I've been looking around on the web seems like honda civic with other countries doesnt differ much.
Im planning to hooked up this car (for racing) Please help where im going to start.
look at your engine, where the headers are, then look a little bit left and a little further down. it may be really dirty, so you might need to clean it off with a rag, but there is a metal tab with some engraved letters and numbers. read them. it should say something like D16Y7 or D15xx..maybe B16xx
B=dohc
D=sohc
B16=1.6 liter DOHC
D16=1.6 liter SOHc
