Oil Cooler(GSR)

Well since I bought my engine used it was missing a bunch of parts. I've had to buy this and that which has been costing me alot of money. Now I've noticed I don't have an oil cooler on it. I did some research and discovered that for the 94, 95 model the GSR comes with an oil cooler. 96+ there is no oil cooler. I have no idea what year my engine is. Is there any harm running my setup without one? Should i fork over the dough for the part, or should I run without one?

Thanks.

Is it still a B18C? Is it the original motor...I dnt think, unless your planning on adding more power over stock that a cooler is completely necessary, if I'm wrong someone will correct me

You should run one if you can get your hands on one for a reasonable price. However it isn't the end of the world if you don't have it.

The oil cooler also doubles as an oil warmer which helps get the oil up to proper operating temp during a cold start.

Thanks for the replies. I will try to track one down for cheap. Yes this car will have more power then stock. Going to run a GT30R so maybe this will be neccesary. Thanks.
