Angry vtec

wats good everybody im back once again with a problem....... vtec kicks in and out, kinda sounds like______, if u kno wat i mean. ive changed the oil and im waitin on a clutch to come in. Engine lights on and everything, ppl say i need a new vtec sensor and im really hopin that i dont, does nebody know of nething else that could be the problem. Please let me know i will greatly appreciate it. thank you

Its not really clear from your posting what your problem is.

What is your car doing?
What *isn't* it doing?
How long as it been doing it?
When does it do it or not do it?
What changes have you made to your car...

Without information like this, the best anyone could do is guess...

well the vtec usually kicks in and out and last time that happen it was oil so i checked that but its straight.

when vtec kicks in its not pullin much at all and the vtec wines down but the rpms still b goin up.

its only during vtec

i got headers, exhaust and a short ram intake

and it started last week i know i need a clutch and dats on the way but i really have no clue and its startin to make me mad

Dear heavens there is some really, really poor English comprehension around here.

Can we summarize that there is intermittent power loss when above the VTEC threshold?

Are you sure it's a problem with the VTEC system, or could it just be an issue with your car needing a basic tuneup?
