Whats the best Honda engine that i can run a 10 sec car?
What engine would everyone reccomend that has the potential to run 10 sec, like what engine should i start with and what mods to it should i do? should it be a accord 6 or prelude 4 what does everyone think?
1. Honda's aren't made to be 10 second cars, you have to make them.
2. having a 10 second car would be nice but its an outrageous goal, and you probably won't accomplish it.
To answer your question though, the easiest way to get a 10 second car would be to by a civic vx hatchback, swap in an engine (your choice, they all have their good points and back points.)
It's not going to be cheap, its not going to be reliable, its not going to be easy, and its gonna take a LONG time.

But if you are serious, CRX or HB is the way to go, along with a paycheck the size of bill gates's wallet.
Get an engin out of an acura NSX and mount it in the back of an old civic dx hatchback. You have a real light car and a big engin. Only problem is that it would be real loud and hot in the car and there would be a lot of costumization to mount it in the hatchback.

If i wana run mid 12 what engine should i work on, an accord 6 or prelude 4 and what mods to go with it? yes i saw F&F but this has nothing to do with a movies where the facts are all wrong.
actually mounting an nsx into a crx is a fairly good idea, so shut up.
anyways, 10s are going to be hard, i suggest an old stripped caged crx with a built nitroused trboed H22A and alot of work. not cheap, but it would be fun.
12s are alot more attainable. the best way is going to be either a crx or hb with either a B18 or H22 with a turbo. 12's you do in a decently reliable street legal car.

Seeing how this is SUPERHONDA.com and not superTOYOTA.com it would make sense that you ask about a 10 second honda.
If you wanted to run mid 12's then why did you not ask that first?

You are gonna need the car before you can start deciding what motor you wanna run. Different options for different cars. Also, is it gonna be streetable or just track??? These are things you are gonna need to think about.
first off, there's not that much out there for accord v6, but if you wanna spend the ALOTA money and do some BREAKTHROUGH research, by all means, i love to see all motor or turbo v6 do 10's.
h22 is proly goin to be your best bet cause plenty 10's cars run them, ppl figured it out and there's alota stuff out there for it. BUT this is gonna be alota money too.
