in my 98 sohc civic i have a fluttering noise in my transmissions side on the car, the noise gets faster in higher rpm , gets louder steering to the left and goes quiet while steering right. could this be my spyder gears in my transmission going out?
very hard to diagnose noises over the internet. The transmission will not care which way you are steering, so I doubt steering would impact any noises from the tranny. I'd be more inclined to think its a cv joint/axle.
