86 Si Lude
Well seeing how those fagmo's over there in the Prelude Forums can't show a brother any love, I'll post this is up in here with my beloved Sol crew I just got an '86 Si Lude w/164k original miles. The overall appearance of the car is nice. It needs some work but it's not bad. The interior's really nice too for how old the car is. 20 damn years! Shit. I'm really taking a liking to this car. It drives nicely. Can't wait to hook up the suspension/wheels and the exterior Lemme know what yall think.

HELL YEAH DUDE! Join the 2nd gen crew. I've also got an 86 Si, but its a POS, and an auto.
This will be my winter transportation while the sol sleeps, becuase the winters here in Illinois are pretty harsh.
How much did you pay for it?
edit: looked at the pics again, and do you plan on going off roading with that thing? The front tires are gnarly haha.
Im thinking i'll put the stock sol wheels on mine when I start drving it.

Thats awesome man. I've also been looking at Preludes(as well as CRXs, tegs, and civics) as I'm in dire need of a winter vehicle. So I might end up with something like that. It looks really good for its age. So the stock Sol wheels will fit on that thing...that would be nice because I still have my stock rims w/ winter tires so that would work out nicely.

Well, since I only had a grand to put on it...the dealer I went to is financing me SOME HOW for 2700. I'll have that paid off real soon. They did it this way to hook me up so I can build some credit The front tires look so gnarly bc they are winter tires...studded to improve traction. It's only for the winter, so it's cool. I plan on doing a 3g front bumper conversion with a lip, and then doing paint/wheels and suspension. I love this ride! It drives and handles superbly for being 20 years old. As far as swaps go, everything is gonna cost a pretty penny bc of all the fab work that's involved so I may just keep the stock Si 2.0. I guess I'll just rebuild it eventually and try to boost it in the long run or something. I want a little more grunt, but for now the power it has will do. Hopefully they won't move this thread. The prelude forum sucks ASS! I bet I still don't have any hits on my TWO threads. Someone posted in one of them, but that was it! shitty if you ask me oh well, nice art work ksniperfox...I'm lovin it

pulls like a champ dude. no joke. Can't wait to see how it responds with some mods. thinking about getting the pace setter headers, hi-flow cat and cat back exhaust. I'm kind of limited. I haven't been able to really find any turbo kits or anything yet. might have to piece my own. I'm thinking I'll do basic bolt ons and just keep the motor running strong. maybe a pNp of the head or something. nothing major, unless it's boost!

Dude you dont have a b20a. You motor is an a20 something or another. b20 was a DOHC only in jdm 2nd gen ludes. Hey if you have access you the stock del sol rims n tires like i did id throw em on, they look hot on my 2nd gen, and mine is a POS to start with. If anyone wants a pic or two lemme know.

If it was a single cam in a 2nd gen it was an a20. Are you sure your not thinking about 3rd gens? They had b20s and b21s.
