96' Del Sol Si burning oil?

I recently purchased a 96' 5-speed Del Sol Si, and I did an oil change first thing when I got home. Checked the levels for a few days to make sure it was full. About a 1000 miles later, I check my oil level and its about halfway between the two dots on the dipstick. Is this normal for the age/mileage of the car? It has 109k miles on it, and the car doesn't appear to have any other problems with it. Forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, for I am new to cars in general. Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Is there blue smoke comming from your exhaust? Have someone rev your engine while you look at the tailpipe.

Go to your local auto parts store and buy a can of "Restore" and add it to your oil.

Also, buy a PCV valve and change it on your car.

All of this should be less than $10-15.

I didn't see any blue smoke. Do you have to check it when the engine is cold? Also, the restore sounds like a good idea, but Im not sure what a PCV valve is nor where its located =/ If you could give me a picture or perhaps a link to some kind of tutorial? Thanks for your suggestion.
