B-Series Theories

Hey a GSR head will fit on a b16 block right? I like the GSR heads because they have a dual intake set up for lower RPM power, and I like the GSR tranny because of the lower ratios. I realize the sensible thing to do would be to get a GSR block with it, but Im curious as to what would happen if they were assembled and installed, and wanted to know what you all think. Late.

Peace

the GSR manifold sucks. Why would you want that? So many people try to rid their GSR's of these manifolds, and you want one?? Also the GSR tranny I don't think is as close as B16A tranny. My ideal setup for me would be to get a CTR or ITR head for my b16a block, then get an ITR tranny (close ratio and LSD).

Supposedly the GSR manifolds give more low end power, thats why its a dual intake, I dont really know much about it, but the close the gear ratios the better acceleration times right? The GSR tranny(Y80), is tighter than the ITR (Y2).

Check out http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/variants.html for ratios.

The ITR tranny (S80) is the tightest tranny that Honda makes.
