hey, i wanted to know what the best springs are, i dont want to get a camber kit. I will spend at max like $250 and im looking to get about a 2 inch drop, do the h & r racing springs work good, i want a good ride 2, just let me know what your riding on and how much $ and of a drop you got- thanks for the info... also whats a good drop for a car without a bodykit and whats a good drop for a car with a bodykit....
Well, springs are all up to you how good it is. If you want it slammed or just mildly dropped or whatever. But typically, you want springs with a good spring rate. And usually, the springs with more coils will have a higher spring rate. Those save your shocks more.

Oh, and for camber kit, if you don't want one, then you will either do a mild drop, or you will do a big drop but have crazy uneven tread wear. It's all up to you

well, that's true, but you don't want one very close to your stock spring rate either. The thing is the lower you go, the higher spring rate you want. Because if it's too soft, the shock travel will be too great for it to handle and it will blow out very soon.

ok, so what types of coilovers/springs ect are you guys using how much $ did u pay and how much of a drop is it? im looking to get like a 2 in drop sense im not getting a bodykit and only getting rims
If you're going to stick with the same drop. You should just get springs. If you want a good price, look on ebay, there's hella springs out there. Just read the descriptions to each one and it'll tell you the drop.

Neuspeed sport are great for comfort as height or skunk2 coilover or gc coilovers. As for H&R they make the Neuspeed spring both companys are great, but be forwarned to lower your car with out a camber kit is dumb and more expensive becasue you will go through tires left and right. My personal set up Neuspeed Race on Neuspeed konis(they are valved just for the race springs unlike typical konis) Energy supension bushing kit and spc(ingalles spelling?) Camber kit front and rear. and with the drop of 2.5 in the front my camber kit only corrected be to 0 degrees camber which is factory spec. with out the kit its was god awful bad
