car won't start

hey all I just got the engine in my car, I used a y8 engine out of a 98 civic and put the intake and exhaust manifolds on it from the z6. I also had to re wire the distributor from the y8 because of the plugs. the car has spark and gas but it still will not start. could it be the different distributor?

maybe timing is off.

yea that seems to be the common thaught so I am going to re-time it and see where it goes. thanks
