CHANGING SHOCKS

Hi all

I recently purchased a 93 del sol vti with gas adjustable shocks, The guy told me that the driver side one needed replacing and has gave me a spare gas shock.

Does anyone have a guide or know how easy it is change the shock plz

theyre simple to get out...getting the spring off will be the harder part...front or back?

you need a spring compressor to get the springs off.

I just did this two days ago. All 4 took me about 6 hours. There are 6 bolts to remove on the front to get the shock out. 2 break lines 2 top ones 1 lca bolt 1 lower shackle I think its called. Then all you have to do is compress the springs and pull the top hat off (1 bolt) then reverse.

do i still need spring clamps as mine are adjustable so can i just fully unadjust it then remove the spring.
