Management. Seriously, the managers at Worst Buy (mine, anyways), are so ungrateful at times, it almost kills me.

They messed up on the schedule and were a man short in Computers, so they called me yesterday morning and asked if I could come in. So I said, "Sure, I'd be glad to help out for a couple hours."

Then when I got there, every manager was being an asshole, like this whole situation was somehow not their fault. I got bitched at for taking my 15 minute break, because about 5 minutes after I left the department got pretty busy, and no one else there knows jack about computers. Finally, I had to leave at 3 (because I already had plans that evening), and I was scolded for not staying until 4.

Complete. Jackasses.

It's whatev though... if you work at any type of large chain/corporation you kinda have to expect shit like that to happen.

I've had that at Hy-Vee. Hadda come in because someone bailed and then people were asses to me.

Just tell them, alright I came in and saved your ASS now get off mine.

That's basically how it is... If they don't appreciate you going out of your way to help out then that's their problem, I'll just leave next time, lol. In a nutshell that's what I wanted to say while I was there: "If you guys are just going to be dicks then I'm going to leave, because I don't have to be here right now." Plain and simple.

With that said, almost everything else about the job is pretty cool... pay is decent and the discount is awesome.

Do you still work at Hy-Vee?

Yes I do.

I just started working again since sports are done for me. I change positions every month or so because I get bored easily and I like working with different people.

Yeah, I like changing positions too... seems like after about 3 months one position will just get boring as hell, lol.

Sports seasons are great. Don't have to work virtually at all and no one will argue with you.
