Yup, check people out and if they have questionable feedback histories, avoid them. The odds are against you ending up being the first person you screw. Also, how did you pay? Can you stop payment on a check or notify PayPal or something?

Not all eBayers are bad. I sell a lot over there and you can look at my feedback. 75, with no complaints.

ive spoken to ebay and paypal and they said if he doesn't reply to their emails there is nothing they can do

That's not really true. Did you send the money to him from PayPal? If so you can do a charge back on the item and get the money back. Also I think eBay should have some buyer protection things in too

all you have to do is if you payed with paypal, call paypal and send them a filled out complaint form and they refund your money or they abstract it from his account even if it gives him - balance....if you didnt go through paypal then you could still contact ebay continuously and get his personal information....whats his ebay name?...i could send him a email and ask him if i can buy some car parts or somethen and get his info from that...i also have illegal ways to get his info ....post back..

i cant get a refund for paypal or ebay because it has been over 30 days

if you paid paypal by credit card, you can call you credit card company and dispute the charge. they will ask you to fill out paperwork and then they can get your money back from paypal if paypal refuses to give you a refund....
