Mods: Civic EG Front End Conversion, Engine Swap- Mighty D15B8 ='D all about the MPG!!!
It was very hard. There aren't too many people that have done the conversion and if there are they're good at hidding from me. So I pretty much started with the core support and the del sol and civic fenders and went from there.
Differences-
Core support
Fenders (must be cut in half)
Hood Hinges (very different)
Hood release cable (too short)
Hood latch diff.
Clearance problems with the hood and the plastic piece that covers the wiper arms
Fender Supports (things that go right beside the headlights)
*not to mention my car is a piece and the previous owners cut corners everywhere. I'm just digging into the mechanics and finding interesting parts or lack there of lol.
*I wouldnt recommend doing it. It's a pain in the ass. The only way I'd say go ahead and do it, is if you're missing a front end or have to replace it anyways because it turns out to be cheaper than doing it back to stock.

This conversion isn't hard. I can have my body guy do this in a weekend
I've seen it done a handful of times. Now if you were doing it yourself, and this was your first time doing something of this caliber, then yeah...it'd be difficult and a pain in the ass. Otherwise, it's a cake walk

Yeah this was my first time doing anything of this magnitude. In the end if you have a few of these conversions under your belt you can easily do this in a weekend.

Like I said this was cheaper than bringing the car back to stock and the parts were easier to get for a hatchback than a del sol.

Don't fret dude...it looks great. Once you've got it all painted and shit, it'll look even better. Like Honda should have MADE the sol that way to begin with.
