leave the front end alone, clean conversion tho...go out and buy an eg next time...

Looks Good!!
The hood is the hardest part of the conversion, I just used the Del sol hinges and modified the piece that fits to the hood, then welded the hood to the hinge. It's tricky to explain, but I'll get a picture of it soon. Then the hood doesnt fit right with the fenders so you'll either have to cut a knotch into the fenders or shave down the points on the hood.

yea i tryd 2 use eg hinges but didnt wrk!
im gona go 2 a few panel beaters this w/e n c if they can try help make sum custome 1's.
Yea a pic of them would b gud.. least gives me a rough idea on how 2 do it.

Hey let me know what they tell you, cuz I want to get a carbon fiber hood for my car but it's like how the hell would I put it on?! I cant weld in on...=\ I'll try to get pictures for you before thursday I leave for NY

EdwinE i got civic eg hinges 2 fit.. only problem is tht the bonnet sits like 1inc above mayb more.
il try post pix latr whn car bak in 1 peice..
im sure if u do eg civic hinges thn u shuld b able 2 get a the carbon fibre bonnet sitting alright!

I am learning how to but I have friends that can. Also I would still need to weld to get my new rad support on.

What do you mean you modified the radiator support?? I dont understand, did you not remove the Del Sol Core Support and just modified it??

That's the only reason I did an eg conversion on my car. I bought mine w/o a front end and the del sol parts were way more expensive. Earlier in this thread I posted a complete parts list.

yep.. saved me ripping my core support off. lol.. n alot easier..

the eg length is all the same length so it came reali easy. lol.. took me about 1hr 2 remove the top welds n reweld civic 1 on. lol..

il try post a pic of car as is in nxt few days. just been reali busi so havnt had time 2 wrk on the car. lol..
