You need to post pics! From what it sounds like, it seems to me, that you messed it up to save a little bit of time lol. But hey if it actually works, meaning to structural integrity lost and is easier, great idea!!

hmmm... i was thinking getting a 01 integra front end since i need a new front end anyway but the only prob is i don't know how to do the fenders. how do you cut em in half and know where to cut them from?

This is a guess... But, I would measure from the back bolts (where the fender bolts to the frame of your car) to the tip of the headlight housing. Then overlay the fenders on one another, do the same measurements and trace a line in the middle of the fenders. (You would have to do this twice, cut the first mark, place the end that is by the door on top of the integra fender make another line and cut) Then weld together.

Here's mine, pretty much done, primered but no paint, and I need to put some washers under the bumper to keep it in the right spot.

last pic is the same as the pic above ur post.

The hood hinges were a pain. If you look at the second to last pic shows the hinges, I cut them since they hit the hood, then on the outside of the hood I put two pieces of tape and made two marks from the fender to the hood, then I measured the hood to find the holes from the lines on the hood. Then I used those measurements off the fender to mark where the holes would be on the hinges. drill ur holes then bolt up.
