Excessive torque steer?

My del Sol is a 93 SI, completely stock.

I recently replaced the clutch. I then had to park the car sideways on an incline for a week.

I am experiencing a few problems now.

1. The car seems to have excessive torque steer (it pull hard right under accel, hard left under decel) but the wheel can be completely straight and it still does it.

2. My e-brake light is on, even when the brake is not engaged.

3. The driver's side is significantly lower than the pass. side. The gap between the top of the tires and the fender wells on the driver's side is much less than on the pass. side. It has been like this for some time now.

4. There is a "clunk" noise from the left front when going over minor bumps.

Did I damage my shocks/springs, and that's why the car is riding the way it is? Could this also cause the pull from one side to another?

I believe the "torque steer" you mean is really just you needing a alignment. Mine pulled both ways like this and i got an alignment and all was well. there is a sensor at the base of the ebrake that turns the light on it is simply stuck on. after a while civics, integras, delsol, crx pretty much all of them will lean to the drivers side. parking on the hill didn't help. you can get new springs and and struts and it will go away. i have the clunk noise on my front left as well. it started after i let the dealer do my alignment. i thinks its either the cv joint or the axel moving side to side. i checked all my suspension and nothing its wrong and everything is torqued to spec. its geting annoying and i think i'm gonna have a mechanic friend look at it.

I have all stock suspension.

Of course to do the clutch I had to remove the axles, so I had to remove a lot of the suspension hardware. I wasn't sure how far to torque the nuts back onto the ball joints when I put it back together, so I just put them up far enough that I could get pins through to hold them in place.

I tightened up the nuts on the steering linkages where they meet the ball joints, and that helped with the torque steer issue. There must have just been enough play that the torque from the axles could turn the wheels slightly without turning the steering wheel.

Where is the best place to get stockish springs/shocks? I want to get as close to stock ride as possible, as this car is going to be driven long distances on the freeway.

Also, I couldn't get pins through under the castle nuts on the two ball joints where the steering links up... is this going to be a problem? I figure worst case scenario, a steering link pops off and I have to stop the car, but I doubt those nuts will work their way off.

I have a slight clutch chatter as well. Could this be helped by bleeding the system some more?

1- check tires for lumps, pressure and alignment

2-as 98civcEK said it's going to be the switch which you should be able to reach removing the ash tray..

3- yes the leaning is due to... you guessed it most the time the driver is the only one in the car.. and the springs are weaker on that side. check aftermarket companies which sell kits it will be cheaper in the end.. check out Options auto @ https://www.optauto.com/

4- clunk could be a ball joint, tie rod end, or the axle all can be checked by raising the car/tire up and moving the tire to feel for play.

you clutch chatter could be a few things.. and bleeding will not help this but should be done im sure you fluid is dirty and in need of replacement..

did you replace the flywheel or get it resurfaced? what brand clutch did you replace it with?

1. Tires are fine, pressure is equal all around.

2. cool, not sure if I'll even worry about it.

3. this always happens? I've never heard of it with any other car... do the aftermarket spring rates at least keep this from happening longer?

4. probably ball joints. they are all leaking grease. they are so damn expensive though. How much do you think it'd cost to take it somewhere and have them all replaced? Also, how do you install them, putting the nuts on there, without the threaded part twisting as you try to put the nuts on?

5. clutch chatter has decreased considerably. the flywheel bolts were stripped due to a spring popping out of the old clutch, and as I was pressed for time, I just installed the cheap clutch for the time being. It seems to engage ok now, and it's got about 115 miles on it so far.

lead is on a distinguished road
did anyone tell him to add brake fluid to his master cylinder?....if not....do it. that is why the light is on

and get new shocks/springs or used ones and replace them.....then the car will drive like sex...and not the rough kind.
