...To my Midnight Companion who road wet and dry through my confusion and happiness. It is unknown as to the full extent of the damage, or the ability to rebuild you as of yet. However, I miss you all the same.

Naw, my car. I apexed early in the canyon and had to adjust my line for traffic. I barely hit the brakes, and the back came around on me at 65mph. I started to counter and then decided to tail it into the wall (Rather than nose first) No injuries, but I don't know if it is repairable.
So remember.... I am the (Now 20) kid who "Doesn't know shit" as some of you so graciuosly proclaimed me when I first got here. Well here's the update. I can fix just about EVERYTHING for $600-$1000 dollars. This includes, entires disc conversion for the rear (Replacing the one I shattered) new brake lines, calipers, brake pads and rotors, the sway I snapped, trunk I fucked, bumpers (Front and rear), all lower control arms, and a full set of springs and struts. So the car can easily be saved, to say the LEAST. I may be 20, but I'd like to see some of you claim you can do all that with about a grand in your pocket. :byye Hi...I'm just a kid, remember.
Now we move onto the driver. I have a concussion and if hurts. I am otherwise medically fine. But the car feels completely different. This happen to anyone else? (note : I have the engine still running. I went tail first for a reason) The car was re-tuned but it just feels different from behind the wheel. I've debated getting into a 240sx. The reason, Though I love the CRX and the Del Sol, the 240sx is also a passion of mine. I noticed that years are passing and the cars are getting older and older. So it's been a difficult debate.
Final Verdict... If I sell the car, I will probably part it out before donating it to some "We pay top dollar cash" thing. It's a '93 S model stick baseline. d15b7
of course its going to feel different after you ran it into a wall like that. did you check to see if you bent the frame? did you bend the suspension parts? if you think about the physics of a 65mph collision, there is a lot of damage there, some seen, some not. it'll never be the same.
the only area of frame damage I have found is where the spare sits in the trunk. I blew my stock passanger rear strut but all the others are in OEM works and springs are still stock condition with 187,000 miles of use on them. The main damage was (I believe Tortion arm) but where the hub is held onto the car...that arm, and my 2 lower control arms on the passanger side. The car would have drivin away if I hadn't fucked up my passanger rear (Cause I hit the gutter curb.)
Mods: Evo 5 Body kit, Neon underbody, Intake, MagnaFlow Dual Exhaust, Scorpion wing.

Dude, sounds like you were driving like you are not supposed to. Remember that there are other people on the roads when you are out there driving thinking you are on a race track. My bro's friend died last week when he couldn't make a turn in his Civic and smashed himself into a tree. Oh yeah, estimated speed 65mph.
Be safe man and I am glad you weren't hurt. Peace...

you're missing the point here. i can almost gaurantee that you caused some torsional (twisting) or compression damage somewhere in the frame, somewhere you cant see it. get it professionally checked. it may still be driveable, maybe even raceable if you are damn lucky, but it'll never feel the same
Correction... I understood EXACTLY what you were saying. And I was talking not about the "Bends and twists" of the frame, but the possible fracture points for the future. I garentee you it is raceable as I have been working on cars since I was 14 and have a shop garage in my garage. everything short of a lift. (Which is replaced by 2 jacks and 4 jack stands.
So here's the question I have for everyone out there in Del Sol land...
I have BRAND NEW KYB- AGX struts in box and BRAND NEW Tein S-Tech springs still in box that I am looking to sell for 600 + what ever shipping is. No tax or shit like that on my side. Just straight up $600 and what ever shipping from area code 92129 is. These parts have never been used and the box was only opened to check product quality once recieved. You even get the Stickers for the Tiens (900 hp gain right there, right?) Any takers??
NOTE:: Sale is marked at a set price for Springs and struts together. NOT EACH!
i'm sorry that this happened and i hope you have better luck in the future. definately a plus that you were able to walk away from this unlike our late friend/moderator.
the only thing i am questioning, is:
"I apexed early in the canyon and had to adjust my line for traffic."
ok, i do not approve
