MEAN IDLE!!

My Sol idles when it in nuetral. It idles but goes away but returns once i REV it. Someone PLZ help, i dont think it could be the Idle Control Valve but then again i dont want to spend $150 or so for a new one. NEED HELP!!!!!!!!

cleaning the Idle Control Valve? or throttle ? Clean it with what cleaner?? thanks man

You can take the screen out of the idle control and try blowing it out with air or flushing it with water. Antifreeze has a tendency to corode into stuff.

Im not sure how that can help the ilde, its pissing me off, but then again im more pissed that i cant drive my SOL because of EMISSIONS.

I try that adjustment on the TB. Screw thing doesnt work, what else is there???

id put 20 to 1 that your idle and your emissions probs are one and the same

yea im hoping he will scan me the VIR papers of his emissions test. ill try to figure out what it is, if he claims its really rich den it could be the cause of it flodding the engine and shutting off.
