Will there be a difference between a P28 and a P30? How different will the Sol be running? My ECU was stolen and I need to get the Sol running ASAP. I am taking a look at a 93 automatic Del Sol in a few hours. Can the AUTO ECU be easily convert to a MANUAL like a P28?
Whats the actual difference? I have a b16a using a P73 obd2 ecu. I am looking for a P30 for two reasons: 1 to actually mount the ecu. 2 it should help with gas mileage since its obiously running rich. Plus I can get P30s for around 100 bux. And I can sell this ecu for a bit more. (Has obd1 > obd2 jumper harness also)

Snoopy, I tried that website and it's not letting me upload. Is there another website? I've been reading up a little on it. Is this process hard... difficult... I picked up that "93" AT P28 for a good price. Now I just have to find a way to convert it... Thanks everybody for the advice so far.
Is the P30 for a B16a3 the exact same as the one that comes with a B16A
p30 is obd1 and usdm.
if by b16a, you mean a first gen(obd0) jdm engine, then no, the ecus are not the same. however, if the obd0 b16 was converted to obd1, it would run on a p30 pretty well.

I have the JDM B16a with a P30, but not everything is hooked up, does the ECU for the D16 plug into the P30 also? Cause I can't find missing wires on the harness but on the motor there is stuff not plugged in. Is there a place with a wiring diagram for the D16 harness to the B16, from a P30?
God 10 minutes ago I wouldn't have understood what I just typed
