The box is actually perfect. its an 8 in sub. wich is suppose to require 1.0 cubic ft. of space in the box. and my box has 1.1 and its ported. woulda put a 10 in in but needed to be 1.5 and the biggest box we could fit was that one considering im 6'.

I just sold my set. In my last car (90 si hatch), I had 2-JL 12's in a professional sealed box, a 1000 watt kenwood 2ch amp, and a 1.2 farad digital readout cap. That shit was loud.

looks like a nice clean setup. The cap is between the two boxes, so it doesn't mess up the air space. Good thinking. Anyway, those days are over for me. I am rollin with some non-amped upgrades 6.5's and my stock tape deck which runs my ipod nano. I just pop the ipod into my pocket, and there is practically nothing to steal. I have an awesome alarm, so they arn't gonna take my car either. I relocated my batt, as another anti theft device. I am not sure if you know this, but one way that cars get jacked is by drilling down though the hood into the positive batt terminal, and shorting out the whole electrical system through the bit and the frame/hood. The alarm never goes off and they tow your car. I highly recomend all del sol owners relocate the batt.

Here is the coolest vid you'll see this year. They kinda look like Del Sols.
http://www.joystiq.com/2006/09/02/th...see-this-year/
We should have a west coast Del Sol meet sometime soon.

Does anyone have pictures of their del sol on 18"s? Do you think that they are too big? 18x7.5
