Ok, cool. I was hoping they were fast, I have some extra time off next weekend and decided that I was going to as much of the body work as I can. Just need that door shell after that and I'm good for paint.

Wow... I knew that lip would be light, but didn't expect it + packaging would be ~3lbs (according to FedEx). Estimated delivery on July 1st, so they got it out quick. Thanks for the good reference, I appreciate it.
On another note - I may have located a door shell. There is someone near me that is parting a 93, so I'm gonna give him a call tonight and check on it.

good luck dude, and yeah when i got the lip out of the box it was very very very light. just remember to get the correct mounting hardware, use really good double sided tape or same color screws. i went with shiney crhome ones to look like rivets, but thats just me. haha

I have a rivet gun, so I'm debating either rivets or black self-tapping screws. I know there are a ton of people out there with the double sided tape, but I don't trust the stuff. I'll admit that between the ages of 16 and 19 I was a ricer - so I have experience with two-sided tape from when I tried to use it to mount neons inside my old car (I'm actually ashamed to admit that I even had neons in my old car) - it didn't hold up. I fortunately came to my senses in college and realized that rice = crap and ripped de-riced the car and sold the parts to buy real (re: Motor/Tranny) mods, but if that tape won't hold interior ricer-lights for more than a couple months, I'm not going to trust it with a lip on my front bumper.

id go with the screws, 3 in the front part that will mount to the low part of the bumper and 2 on each side behind the bumper.

That was my thought... I'm going to take off the front splash guards while I'm at it... I think it will look cleaner with the lip and rear guards than it would with both front/rear since the front splash guards sit lower than even the bottom of the lip will. W/O the front splash guards, the bottom of the car should flow evenly from front to back, making it look good and clean when painted.

Dang man, how thick of spacers did you use on the back end of that lip? I centered it and drilled the three holes in the front so I could see how big of a gap it was. Putting a 99-00 civic lip on a 95 Sol leaves quite the gap doesn't it?

yeah you gotta get a think rubber block and cut it to fit, its a pain but its needed.

Yeah, I hadn't realized how much of a gap was left at the back, so I had just bought some 1/4" spacers and thought it would be fine... I think I need closer to 2/3"... that or some very odd and creative mounting...

You don't happen to have any side pics of the back of the bumper do you? I'm curious as to how close of a fit you can get it and it looks like you did a great job on the rest of it.
