I know some of you have installed indiglo gauges before so here's a little question about these damn toys....
Where did ya'll hook up the power and the ground? I hooked it up to the top right hand (the wide one) plug that fits into the gauge pod. I spliced it into the black wire and the third from the right red wire. (by splice i mean cut, trim, and wrap).
They work, but now when I flip my lights on with the car running the temp and fuel gauge jump to max and my speedometer drops !!!!!
what the hell is going on here? Where should I splice into?
i just hooked up mine to one of the bulbs that lights up the gauges, they come on with the switch. just take out a bulb and line up the wire with the contacts, then put the bulb back in. the bulb will hold the wires in place

I just did mine, all I had a problem with was bending the tabs and getting the gauges to stay. tacks of superglue fixed that.
mine are grounded straight to the chassis.
I ran the power to my fuse box that the parking lights run on, and just ran the ground behind the bolt that holds the hood release. Works well, I haven't had any problems.

exact same thing I did, however you do not want to leave it there for very long. i got some 3m T-taps and plugged into the actual line...works better and is safer.
thanks for the tips! I plugged the ground into one of the screws in the back of the gauge pod and kept the power line in the same place (spliced into a power lead).
It works great now! (this morning was a little interesting going into the office... when i flipped my lights on the speedo dropped completely to ZERO ! )
These things look really cool, but the 'glare resistant' plastic (kinda rough texture) makes the little del sol car and the clock REALLY fuzzy and it's irritating me. I want to get an exacto knife and cut this area out, but test cuts into the edges of the plastic underneath the bevel show a big white crease when you cut this plastic stuff. it would really look like hell on the face .... guess i'll have to live with it. WTF, I only paid $32 after s&h for it. NOPI was trying to sell me one for ~$120..... screw that ! ("yeah, but this one fits better" ---- not $90 better!)

I actually took an exacto and cut the area over the clock out. it took about 15 min, not that hard.have to be real careful though or it will look like ass. roundout the corners also. i left the car alone, looked kinda cool
