Questions keep coming up...

OK, first of all.... I AM BACK HOME!!!!
For those don't know, I was doing my duty back in Afghanistan...

Ok now, about this motor project I research into...I'm thinking of getting an ITR crank and use it with eagle rods and JE pistons with Darton 85mm sleeves...Will the ITR crank fit on my B16A2? what rods needed? and what about the pistons? Is the piston pin the same? Also, will the Darton sleeves fit on this block?Basically, is my block similar to a B18C block? And what is your recomendation about the comp ratio should I look?I suppose If I have the motor bored, with the same head, that means I have a raise of compression because of the combustion chamber staying the same?Gimme some ideas....

build

first of all dont waste your money on a crank, stock honda cranks are fine with low compression kits and will hold up to 400+ power as long as you resurface it and go with eagle h-beam rods and the JE piston kit, high compression is where you have to go with a crank. as far as compression goes go with the JE 9:1 kit, having it bored-dont bother just have it bored and resleeved with the sleeve kit to stock mm. As far as head work go with skunk2 turbo valvetrain and you will have a motor that is basiclly bullet proof, this is how i built my boosted H22 civic and that car has been ran to shit and still runs great with plenty of passes on it. go with Precision 680cc injectors and tune it on a Hondata S300 or S200 if you want to save a little cash, also all good gaskets such as Cosmetic head gasket and Hondata intake gasket, remember though you can have all the horsepower you want but make sure you have a built trans to or you will just be waisting your time on the hole build at least if you plan to go over 300 whp.And by the way thanks for serving us americans in the service bro

I was talking about the ITR crank, because of the specs.I'm not planning to go turbo, as I like it natural breathe...That's why I'm looking into some good comp, at least 11:1.About injectors I was thinking something like RC 310cc for this application, dunno if its enough...I already have the thermal insulation hondata gasket. Also the Cometic one for the head looks fine for me.For fine tuning I was thinking to dig the P28 ECU with crome and stuff on the laptop, but def I will need a dyno and wideband, so probably some good shop will do that for me when the whole project is finished.Any info about the b16/b18 uncompatibilities? Afterall is the ITR crank fit's in the b16 block? Thanks for the interest...
