Who makes it? The Mugen one's an assload of cash. The tip
on yours sticks out too far, too, IMO, but at least it's not HUGE like the Tanabe. DC makes one, too, I think, but even their's is like $400.00+ last time I looked.

But that Mugen muffler says, to me: "A fool's born every day".
Just reasearch as you save, dkg33.
Sometimes cheaper parts are the best, and jackasses
are paying a premium for prestige. I looked for a good
SC cat-back exhaust for about a year, (buying parts
along the way), before I chose the Tanabe; I still
don't know if I'd made the right choice. Read my
review in the "parts review" section. Definitely a
"COP magnet". Solid SS, though.

i guess thats what my plan is set at. my short term goal for my baby is to be hittin 300hp so i dunno saving has to be done before any hp is gained lol.

I turboed my sol si about 2 months ago im running 8psi strong no hitches. just need an engine management and ill feel safe to put it to 10psi after a good tune. i have a greddy exaust and it sounds good to me. let me kno if you have any questions. i did everything myself but the downpipe fab.

well the d16a thats in now i dunno if it has any forged internals i have to ask the prev. owner b.c i dont wanna put the turbo on if im at risk so im scared. so ima gunna built the motor up so the turbo will be well handled. but thanx dude appreciate it. greddy evo2? kinda lookin at that one.

no actually my greddy dt muffler. its discontinued tho . the d16 motors are pretty safe and reliable at 6-8 psi tho on stock internals if you dont run the piss out of em

yea think ill play it safe till i get my fuel management. anyone know stock internal measurements? still a noobie but tryna get past that.

d16a is the jdm motor which = d16z6 in USDM so yea.

they are pretty much equal? im just lost as to why the spec on the motor is a factor in you decideing to turbo. its gona hold 6 psi easy
