Whoever that is evidently thinks he's got race cars.
I wouldn't touch it.

I need a new throttle body and I think I found what I need on Ebay. I also found a header for next to nothing and want to know what the deal is with them. I figure you guys would know better than I would, but if I can get a legit stainless steel header for under $50, I'm sold. It has to be a sham though. I can't imagine getting non- P.O.S. exhaust equipment for that cheap.
no that header wont do shit for you. look up the rmf narrow style replica. its 450$ and gave 14.3whp and 13.5 footlbs of torq. best bang/buck header.

am presently doing a parital resto... ( ie fighting back the rust beast) i have a d16z6 in a 95 del sol si
just bought last month ;'P........ and everything werks!!! ( crusie ... mirrors...etc....)
presently amd saving a bit of cash for brakes .. ( it sat for a year ... ugh..) and have welded up a few body holes..
my min. plans for hte motor are
a custom build CAI cermic coated with a 2,5-3" K&N (pipe will be 2.5inch)
MSD cap n rotor with a external coil... and wires of course..
also ... and i KNOW ill get flamed..;'P....
since its a 4-2-1 stock head.... a small true dual exhuast..... that will have a effective cfm of a 2.4 inch single pipe...
Let the bashing begin ... eh... i forgot to mention ... it has a custom ECU .. and i have NO clue wot its set for
and i LUV my local import bone yard...... they see me now and just wave me to the hondas ;'P

so basically you want to have lawnmowers give you a run for your money... shweet.
so yer saying stick to a single 2" ??./.. then if i ever upgrade things.... stil stay single?
btw... i must of been half a sleep when i did the numbers crunch on the "planned" duallie....yer right ...way to big... one size smaller equates to a about a 2.1 inch pipe... but i know there are like NO mullffers that size (dual not the single)
just learning wot werks... present exhuast is solid ... but its farts @2.3k thru 3k ... to much rice!!
Soo ive been deliberating on selling my sol for awhile now.
I kinda got bored with it, and I dont have the money to put in a new tranny, (since its an automatic.)
Ive always wanted a 1991 civic sedan for some reason. I think its because it was my grandmas car. She was gonna give it to me, but it was junked instead, and then she passed.
Anyways, i was looking around on craigslist and found this. HONDA CIVIC 1991 SEDAN LX STAND
just looking at the pics, for a 91, the body is in damn good condition.
What im wondering, is it worth it, to trade him my car, with money coming from his side, even if it has 200k miles? Provided that everything is in order...of course.
thx

I wanted to get the pacesetter exhaust for my del sol because the sound it offers is what im looking for and it looks cool not to ricey, but for 300 bucks i dont know if its worth it or if there is anything similar in terms of sound an that doesnt look to ricy?
Also in the future i want to go GSR can i use this same exhuast with the GSR even if i go turbo or keep it N/A? And as for front bumper i have two questions, one which is the bumper that deletes the fog light? Or is there a bumper that lets me relocate the fog lights lower in the bumper?
Ok so here is the lowdown. After beating around in my head about what I have been wanting this is what I am shooting for. Going to start this project this summer...

looking for some opinions for my car options.
I bought my 94 civic EX like 6months ago, it was already high mileage when i bought it but i didnt really care because i thought if the engine does eventually fail its just an excuse to do a swap like ive always wanted. So right now im at 205k and although the car is still running like a champ i want to start working toward a swap. My plan is to slowly build an engine little by little and wait for something to break or just swap it when i have everything.
The simplier and probably easier and cheaper option to me would be to build a z6, change the internals to handle a 15psi boost. kind of starting to lean this way because it would be so simple and easy but still deciding.
then there is the option to do a b16 swap also w/ boost, this is the more pricey option but leaves me with a 30hp difference and i dont think i even need to change the internals.
just hoping for some helpful advice

you cant measure a turbo in psi
one turbo at 5 psi can push as much air as another at 35 psi
I suggest doing quite a bit of research to get a firm background
fuck the b16. its the same as your current motor under 5k rpm and feels slightly better only because it can rev higher.
if you are going turbo, be smart and stay with your current motor.

heh alright then back to research
:-/ na idk if id turbo this engine ill be too afraid to break something, i mean its old and idk how well the previous owner maintained it. this is my daily driver so id rather build up a motor that can handle the abuse and then put it in.
but i do think im going to build another z6 its soo much easier. just gotta research a good set up now. i want something that has power and that is practical.
