intake and exhaust are probably the easiest
you can get a full bolt on cat back for fairly cheap and i got my intake pipe from a junk.. at night.. for free haha
so thats cheap easy stuff and it makes your car sound a little more beef-ier
Mods: AEM short ram intake, tanarai catback exhaust
careful which exhaust you get, some of them sound horrible and get you made fun of a lot :P. then theres mine which sounds good but has started to rust after 4-5 months (ebay exhaust, tenrai)
Mods: Dc header, Greddy short throw, CF exhaust, glass targa, 2in drop. and the K@N sticker that adds 45+ HP! :)
So yeah. The biggest thing is to not rice out your del sol.
altezza lights
spoilers (unless its stock)
weird bright colored paint jobs and over the top body kits
should not be put on. It's all about doing some tasteful things to your ride. Performance wise I say start with bolt-ons. This includes:
Header
exhaust
intake
better plugs / wires
and fluids running through your new baby.
I'm a noob here as you can probably tell, was wonderign what bolt ons you peeps would recomend? Any info would be seriously appreciated. I have a 95 S w/at, . But am looking forward to making it my own!!! Thanks.
P.S.
If all you wanna do is bash on my car choice or me cuz im a noob, dont waste your time, i have heard it all before. lol
CAI (or short ram) (cheap tube, good filter)
Short shifter.
Possibly coilovers (if you have the cash)
A manual tranny !!!!!
Mini me swap.
Unless you KNOW that the fluid has been replaced recently then drain it and fill with HONDA ATF.
Oil change
SWAY BARS front and rear will make a huge difference.

So im thinking about selling my del sol. What would be a good price i can most likely sell it for? I got it for 3500. This is what i know is wrong with it
Weird sounds when steering to the right (CV probably needs to be changed)
Heater Switch on Dash doesnt work
Left door doesnt lock from inside (Needs new handle)
Obvious del sol leaks like most others.
Normal honda paint going away on trunk
It has 147k miles and literally completely bone stock mechanically.1993 SI, im the second owner an has never been in any kind of wreck. Only thing that isnt stock is the radio/speakers. Boston accoustics rear speakers, alpine front, and blaupunkt bluetooth head. Don't want to sell it but need to make room for a growing family.

Hi all, I;m new to these forums but I was hoping someone could offer an opinion about rims.
I have a black 1995 del sol Si... it recently had a new paint job so the exterior is nice looking. A few years ago I put 17" Motegi MR-7's on it (in silver finish), but they are pretty banged up at this point so I;m looking to replace them. I also wasn't as happy with them as I thought I would be... they were a little too "sporty" for me (as opposed to classy). I don't mind sporty but I don't want it to look like a race car, just like I put work into it (it is my baby after all)
So I looked at some rims and I like Drag brand, especially the DR-14's in silver finish. I was wondering: does anyone use Drag wheels/seen them on a del sol? Do you like them and/or do you have any pics? And if not, what kind of rims do you have on your Sol and do you like them (not super sporty ones)?
I used one of those websites where you can see a virtual preview of the rims on your car, but that's not nearly as helpful as a picture of the real thing.

Hey guys i'm new here i just got a 97 honda accord ex with an F22B1 my dad gave to me it has an exhaust don't know what brand though and i was wanting to put a turbo on it i know you can put a turbo on with stock internals and i was wondering if the Turbonetics turbo kit is a good kit and worth the money thanks guys
Lets see, your dad just gave you a car and you want to put a turbo on it ASAP. Take the time to learn some more before you jump into something like that. Provide a link if you need to have us tell you why this specific kit is a bad idea.
