LMAO...... ok..... just got back from a post cruising party.
Aight I'm at this party and this ghetto g lookin dude was there running his ignorant mouth to everyone. He was telling us how he grew up working on Hondas and how his uncle owns the fastest RX-7 in Ohio... blah, blah, blah, blah. I go out for a ciggy and he follows me out, I'm sober he's drunk, it's play time
I ask him "so what mods can I do to pick up good HP?"
He looks at me and thinks for a bit then blurts out "KNG air filter mang, I seen civics pick up at least 50 HP just with one of those babies on them." then he follows with "but you can't put them on them civic is's (no typo) the CARBUERATOR is too small."
Oh god I was about to lose it at this point so I had to keep going. I ask "well see I've got a motor from Japan that I want to put in my car but I don't know what all I need."
He shoots back very confidently "dude you can't do that mang, see if ya does then you'll have 5 reverses and only one forward gear!"
I look at him with disbelief and ask "huh? why's that?"
"dude all the motors in Japan are mounted backwards from american exports, so they's motors turn different from ours cuz they sit on the other side of the car."
At this point I'm spitting my pop everywhere from laughing so hard at his misinformed statements so I go in. Later I over hear him braggin about his uncle's 4 cylinder (not rotor, cylinder) RX-7 with a Holley 4 bbrl carb and 300 shot nitros that runs low 6's everytime. Oh yeah and it was non turbo b/c they slow down the air flow.
