why did the 94 del sol si beats 94 eagla talon tsi

last night i went to a race and a del sol (basic mods) beat an eagle tsi (stock) anyways it kinda suprised me that it beat it:eek: :eek: :eek:

well maybe the tsi had something worng or had a bad launch (if it could have a bad launch with AWD) or even the hp/wieght ratio????

well i noticed the talon got smoked right off the line but he started gainin on him in the later part of the querter mile but the talon seemed to have a good responce off the line but he just didn't have the quickness. i just all puzzles me

Maybe he just doesn't know how to race. A lot of people i've known have been scared to take their cars to redline, robbing themselves of precious high end horsepower. That could be a good reason why it lost. Our cars don't have very good bottom ends. Even the turbo mitsu's.

i have a 93 si and my friend has a 95 tsi. he kicks my ass all the time. when i am following him, he just takes off and im left in the dust. damn DSMS!!
