Keep seem to find the ideal one
 So far my life up to this point has seemed to moved in the right direction: I work hard at a good job, got a small buisness off the ground finally for side $$$, I rent out a room in my house, I'm physically in great shape, have good friends, and have a multitude of hobbies I enjoy. However the only thing I don't apparently have in order in my love life. I got out of a relationship which ultimately wasn't going to work, but she still remains in contact with me which hasn't exactly helped the situation. I have asked out a few women lately, but by some divine intervention, every single one never went anywhere. I am so disapointed that I gave up trying with them, it seems like a futile endevour, everytime. I know rejection all too well. So upon reading this one may make the suggestion that I maybe trying to hard or conversely I need to be "going with the flow". But the ironic thing is I get attention from women all the time, be it the club, or other social gatherings. I have also read just about all the material out available on the subject so I understand how the system works. I'm just so fed up with it............

just fuckin around bro i'm in the same boat. i'm a patient man though and i understand that a dry spell is just a dry spell. i'm not doing quite as well in every other facet of life as you though, so i don't expect them to flock.

It sounds like you still have something held back for the chick you're not in a relationship anymore. You need to be able to work that out before you'll be able to get in a relationship that will really go anywhere, IMO. I was still talking to a chick that I'd stopped dating and it was totally F'in my head up until I told her how it was making me feel and then I was able to move on.
P.S. The chances of you meeting the girl you're going to marry at a bar/club is like buying 2 lottery tickets instead of one and expecting to win  ... |

i met my bf at Coyote Ugly (i was a coyote and he was my regular actually!  ) and we've been dating for a year and it doesn't even seem like it, the time has passed so quickly and everything is AMAZING. i know it's early still but we just go with the flow and just enjoy our time with one another and enjoy LOTS of the same things.
i realize we're one couple of few that met at a bar and it truly worked out, but I guess what i'm trying to say is, just don't shut off everyone you meet in a bar. 
keep your head up, and i swear when you don't expect it something great will come along and you won't see the relationship coming until you realize you've already started dating!! |

i have been hanging out with this cool ass chick trying to bust down the friend wall. a piece of advice: do NOT take the full step back to cursing like you know you want to, driving like an idiot when ppl piss you off (within reason of course), farting in front of her, and just in general actually acting like a friend, no matter how bad she says she wants to be friends. if you've kissed, etc.. she doesn't want to see the real you any more. you are still auditioning.

yeah i screwed the pooch big time last night. she is muy menstrual right now though, so whatever. she'll get over it i hope.. and if not, fuck it. she wants to take a break from spending SO much time together though (we've been pretty well attached @ the hip since her & her son stayed here for the hurricane). oh well, hopefully we'll be back to normal by the weekend.. got plans to throw the ball around & picnic with her & the boy (he's 8 & had never thrown a football until a couple weeks ago with me!!1). wish me luck dog. the bad habits will be back under wraps i guess.. but he LOVES it when i fart.
