okay so.....
I got some chopped up pics from a friend of this hypothetical situation, and I agree with ya'll, cuz...
o Contrast is wayy too much. I dont really know why but its not pleasing to the eyes with the black/silver combo. It does jump out, but not in a good way.
o Not only that but this messes with the color scheme. It might have been okay with a much darker gray ( like some BMW models, where i got the idea to hit up the halos), but with the lighter silver version, it just doesnt happen for me.
o plus the fact that i wasnt 100% sure

of it to begin probably was a sign that i shouldnt get it at all.
BTW, the pics are really poorly done (in paint, not photoshop) so they arent even worth showing. Plus from the sound of things it looks like no one would want to see them anyway!

<------ everybody who responded
I like the stocks and i dont have a problem with them, its just...... I felt like givin the ride of 2 yrs a face lift. I dont know.
The real reason for this is cuz i wanted to do some mechanical work on it. But i ran the budget, and for a good deal of time, my availible funds (being conservative) for modding only would be somewhere b/n $1500 - $2000. So that means...
b18c1 swap w/ tranny conv.- bump that

turbo set-up - forget that

Weight reduction (ie carbon stuff, racing seats, whatever else) - pass
So with those out of the way, I still wanted to jazz up the ride. Oh well. Better not waste the $$$ i got.
Ugh, being in college sucks. Lack of $$$.
Oh well. im fine with that. Plus, thanks for being honest kids

. But like I said, didnt really change the outcome.
