question

how do you put borders the black outline around the pic?? i just got photo shop 7 and learning how to use it.

Layer > New Layer, name it Frame

Image > Canvas Size
-Change the width and height to make it bigger by whatever size you want the Frame to be.

Select the Paint Bucket Tools (press g), select whatever color you want the background to be on the color wheel.

With the color selected click on the "frame" area of the image and it should change the color of that area.

There are many ways to create a frame. This is just one of them.

you could also do

Ctrl A (to select the entire image)
then edit>stroke

enter the number of pixels u want the border and select the color, set it to Inside stroke, done

u could make it an action and run it as a batch to everything u have open automatically, saves alot of time

i stopped using borders, i found em tacky, but there ya go bro
