Ive been gradually getting back into PS but here some shit i have done in the past, i cant post them all but ill post some of my fav's and some of the car ones i have done...
I dont use any brushes... mostly C4D and alot of smudge, and for the most part i use stock brushes for smudge, just lots and lots of layer... its all about blending and shading, i stoped using alot of brushes, but they do come in handy...
