1997 GSR EJ6 vs 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged.
Rather old video of my bro's GSR Hatch. Not much really done to it, decked Head and Block, it spun a bearing before so it was bored over .20 with oversized oem internals and a CTR ECU. The driver of the Cobalt SS claimed to have a stage 2 pulley and a few other small things with 220 @ the wheels. Unsure if it was true, but none the less, he uploaded it and I got bored so I am posting it.

It's nice to put into perspective just how damn slow those SS Cobalts are.

if that had anything more then an intake, you would have been hearning the supercharger whine. so i vote it was stock
and with a pulley they sound like mini cobras. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRh1dZgy4pw&NR=1
was that even the S/C SS? you know they make a N/A one too right?

Cobalt SSs are one of the biggest disappointments ever imo. The supercharger is tiny, totally silent, and the car itself is slower than a N/A neon. I was gonna buy one but after the testdrive I was like DAMN it's SO slow for forced induction.

Um. Are you kidding me? You can clearly hear the whine...maybe your volume wasn't turned up. Listen to when they get on the highway. If that isn't a whind, well fuck...I guess I don't know what is.

Also you can see the boost gauge on the A pillar if you look closely.
