does he have a turbo timer on that? or is that only for smaller motors?
turbo timing is to ensure that the car is shut off with cool oil in the turbo. if you go drag racing then turn off the car, all that hot ass oil is stuck in in your turbo. which will significantly shorten its life.he probably does not have a turbo timer, but its a good idea to let cooler oil circulate into the turbo while idling before shutting it off, no matter what size engine/turbo. it applies to ALL turbos.
