but i just wanted to say this car is definately competing with the upper class, more exotic cars. I mean ok, it only makes around 400hp depending on the dyno. But power levels aside, for around 80k you can get a car that runs 11.5-7, about the same if not faster as a porcshe 911, yet about .3-5 sec from the ZR1. Its goes 0-60 in 3.8 and weighs like 3800lbs!!It ran a lap time that was like a minute slwer than the ZR1
nissan also lies. i know it SAYS stock tires but if they are running stock tires how come its never on stock wheels?
and how come everyone else that tested the GTR on the ring hasn't gotten ANYWHERE close to nissan times.
Drivers republic showed what a stock GTR can do, 7:55 IIRC.
stock gtr is awesome for what it is.
performance spec gtr= overrated garbage

Valid points. I re-watched the 7:26 video. Here, you can see that they swapped out the factory wheels.
With these:
They could have just mounted the tires on the factory wheel. The closest anyone else but Nissan got was a 7:38 by SportAuto. Nissan also uses a former Formula One driver and rents a garage at Nurburgring, lol. That's Nissan for you.
On the other note, to GM for fixing the transmission problems from the earlier 2010 Camaro SS models when using the launch control...unlike another company....
