i know she didn't probaly mean to offend anyone, but it sounds alot like "er" to me. and if you wanna know why we go crazy just look up the history of that word, it was used to put and keep down african americans,and the way i feel this whole country is fucked up, i mean the settlers kicked the native americans off their own land and masakered tribes for the hell of it. world war 2 they put the japanese in camps even though some japanese were fighting for the us in the army and they didn't do shit to the germans in the us.i feel the "er" should never leave a persons lips,and if any black person was around it would have been an all out war. even when some of my non-black freinds say the "a" we get a little bit touchy,and wonder should we kick his face in or just let it slide.and now that i think of it my black freinds don't even say the "a" much, we mostly say other pharses like: whats good etc.

It will be easy for you to say all that.. but we have a long way to go.. before we all become "equal". You may call it an excuse.. you may call it whatever you want.. but nothing right now is equal. There are still a lot of resemblances from back then and now. So yea it's been 150 years.. but that word still has its impact.. and it's going to be a long long long long long LONG time before it loses it.

If the word was so offensive then why did u say it in your first post? I think you need to take a look at history again cause EVERY race has been enslaved at some point in time, and the only people I still hear bitchin about it is black people.
