Yeah ur right its not equal thats why theres affirmative action where they can get a scholarship stricltly on their race, and they get jobs because companies are mandated to have a certain percentage of minorities whether there qualifid or not and still white people hold 95% of all corporate jobs. Where was a.a. for: Oprah, Colin powell, and former Senator Carol Moseley-Braun to name a few. They didnt muddle on being black and not having a chance,they made there way just the same as some black kid in the ghetto can. There is still education in da hood. You've mentioned 3 black people out of millions. They're the ultra-super-exception. allthough I dont agree that everyone has the same chances in life as others I do not think that it is based on race whether you have more or less.
I live in a smaller city of about 130,000 give or take a few and I moved here from ***etteville,NC(home of the biggest military instulation on the east coast) and if some do not know with a Army/Air Force base in town it makes it for a very diverse group of people.Now I am in N.E. TN and when I moved here about 10 years ago there were alot of redneck fucks but now the whole race thing is not even looked at by even the most countryfied redneck.My point with this ramble is that times are totally different from even 10 years ago and IMHO the only black people that get looked down are the ones runnin around acting like they are G'd up but like I said before MTV/BET have started this whole subculture so most teens act this way white,black,asain,etc,etc and all of them get looked down apon cause it looks stupid as fuck when your dressed up in a clown suit like what say Lil Flip wears
