i dont get it.... So you guys raced until 2nd gear and you put your hazards on? Turbo cars have more top end, na has more bottom. I had someone in a g35 race me and as soon as they floored it and got half a car ahead, they cut me off and put on the hazards. That is why i keep my racing at the track. Everyone gets me off the line but I still pass them before the finish line.
Plus with 11.5cr to a possibly stock srt4 of course you are going to get him off the line, also try checking the weight differences.

sounds/looks like they took it farther then 2nd gear.
who cares about weight, it's all about run what you brung, and that's what each car brung. why hate, why not tell him good job?
I've driven both turboed and na cars, it's not true that all turboed cars have purely high end. cars with small turbos run out of breath easily.

b20vtec, je pistons, eagle rods, portflow vs, bc4 cams, gsr tranny(2nd gear grinds so i have to smooth shift it in) blox im, hondata s200, cam gears, exedy race clutch...
i think thats about it.. all motor, trying to get it dynoed but no one does that up here in butte area, sac is too hot to drive down.

dont get me wrong, im not sayin the guy is slow, but that video looked/sounded like they raced like 100 feet. 11.5cr tells me there was internal work done to the car, and i give props to anyone that actually digs into the engine for performance, so many people just bolt on a few things and think they are hella fast . Most people I run into around Austin just lower the car and put a muffler and try to race everything on the road. I go to local car meets and get sooooooo many ricers wantin to run me. Now I have a habit of checking over their engine to see if they really put an effort worth racing (i want a close race (challenge)). Last week we had a red turbo del sol show up out of nowhere and everyone wanted me to race him since I was the only turbo del sol around. So i checked over the engine and asked how much boost, he replied he did not know. He had no boost gauge, no tuning, NO INTERCOOLER, there was about 1½' of pipe from turbo to TB. So i say aloud, he got along way to go before he can race me (not trying to sound cocky) But seriously, he would blow his engine trying. I mean I put ALOT OF EFFORT, TIME, MONEY, RESEARCH, etc into my car, and to have someone with a similar setup (turbo sohc) that doesnt even know whats there try to race me, just offends me...

we took it all the way, just my 2nd gear i already pulled like 4-5 cars. and at the finish line it was further than that. 2nd round the srt boosted higher making him able to catch up but still get smoked...
