Best Motoring Drives the GT500
I dunno, suspesion looks loose as a goose. I also have that Top Gear thing in the back of my head, when he said the suspension is shit.

Thats weird seeing Tsuchiya drive an American made car. Thats funny that other guy said the Vette handled horrible and that the GT500 handled better.

that is a pony car.
what "muscle cars" do you speak of? They stopped making "muscle" in the 70s
but uh as far as "pony cars" camaro/mustang, yes they did grow up on the RACE TRACK.
get your facts straight.

So you are saying a Boss or Mach 1 (late 60's early 70's) with the 429 Cobra Jet engine not muscle?

Yes i would say that. Because a mustang is a pony car NOT a muscle car. And an engine option can't change that fact.
the camaro and mustangs battled on race circuits for over 30+ years. That was their purpose, you can't argue that fact.

doesn't look like a drag strip to me. Just cause some rednecks like to drag race and buy anything with a V8 to go fast straight doesn't mean that is what the car was meant to do. I mean, look what idiots are doing with civics, supras, skylines, shit anything they can get their hands on that has 4 wheels. does that mean "its a drag only car"
but it seems American cars are the only ones that carry the stereotype.

And where do you think the muscle car era started? With the Mustang and Camaro. And because it's not on a drag strip, doesn't make it a muscle car. It all depends in what era you lived in. when I was a kid we called Mustangs, Camaro's, Chevelles, Gto's, Vettes, ect... Muscle Cars. Muscle meant it had a big engine with lots of horsepower and could go fast.

Most American cars with big engines and RWD are muscle. Thats why we dont call Hondas muscle cars. Because they are small engines built for reliability and gas consumption. And a Mustang is a muscle car...they are heavy cars with heavy engines to conpensate for the weight of the vehicle. Most of them have shit suspension which is why most of them stay off the circuits.

if u look over the web, the definiton of a muscle car is often disputed. i think we can all agree tho that a muscle car is GENERALLY an american car that has a high displacement v8 engine with lots of torque for maximum acceleration. i think its up to a mustang owner to decide if its muscle or not.
as long as they dont go to pep boys for decals and wings its fine with me.
