Im also very suprised at how the american import owners can body slam their own country.
what do you think "american car companies" are made of?
Yes thats right....Americans
American engineers
American business men
American workers
ect ect
and for them to sit back and throw shit like they do is shocking. Your in effect calling YOURSELF and OTHER PEOPLE IN YOUR COUNTRY, MORONS
where has the pride gone?
I don't get it.

I get WAY over 25 on the highway. I usually get 25 with a good bit of city driving, straight highway tanks are over 30 (even more in flat places). And that's tuned w/ 450 or more hp at the crank.

[quote=Nathan123]I'm really sick of fucking idiots telling ME that I need to read/research/learn ANYTHING, especially after I have already demonstrated knowledge miles beyond their own.
You are stupid, and I'm going to stop trying to reason with people like you.
I will neg rep first and flame later to let everyone else here know that they are dealing with irrational stupidity.
OK bro you took this way to far man. I did not say you did not know what your talking about. I simply stated that the AWD system can handle 1K horsepower cuz I've seen plenty of vids and I have seen it in Real life. And on the comment you need to do some research well I am sorry that that offended you, simply ment that it can and there has bein plenty proof on vids that it has. All I was commenting was on your first comment. That "you tools make Skylines out to be unbeatable cars. Skylines put down a little under 300hp, for fucks sake you can get that out of a fucking K20A with a little work and tuning." Man I was commenting that us tools don't make the stock Skyline seem unbeatable but what it can do is what we are amazed after you do some work on it. Tha's it bro. I would like to see a plain out race between a Skyline 1K horsepower against a 1K Camaro or Vette or Viper I don't care and not on slicks. But did not mean any disrespect.

There is NO ~300 hp production car drivetrain in the world that can handle 1000 hp stock. And there is a LOT more to break in an AWD system. This is not up for debate, and I DO know what I'm talking about.

And the reason that your friend is dusting vettes in his CRX is because it weighs probably half as much as the cars he's racing. Power to weight ratio is a wonderful thing... also makes it easier to forget that you have NO TORQUE because light cars are easier to get moving... lol

Oh i'm sorry did the crx strike your little nerve poor thing. and don't try that torque shit because the debate was can it be smoked or not besides i'm from the caribbean yeah we don't manufacture cars but we managed to beef our gtr's to do two wheeelers so talking about torque ain't a thing

Just asking what motor is in the crx? oh in your defense if the car is boosted that will make torque in a small displacement motor

There is nothing magical about Getrag. And unless you can PROVE that his shit was STOCK and putting 1200 whp to the ground, I don't believe it. I've personally seen Supras blow the guts out of the tranny, break driveshafts, and destroy the differential gears/housing by simply launching too hard with <700 whp. Never seen any of that stuff hold 1000 hp, and couldn't even imagine 1200 hp. There is a reason most guys who really try to put power to the ground with those cars end up going with a GM Turbo 400, you know.
I will say that there is always the remote possibility that he ACTUALLY got the stuff to survive for a while at that power level, but that is FAR from meaning that those drivetrains can handle the power. Just like the maniac that put down ~850 RWHP by slapping a huge turbo on an internally stock LS1. Does that mean an LS1 can handle 850 rwhp on the stock block? Fuck no. It means he got lucky for a while, and the LS1 still can't handle more than 550 RWHP for any amount of time.
Oh, and if this is one of those "never raced at a track/never launched/never really driven" kind of things (i.e. did nothing but tire spinning and roll racing).. come on. That isn't "handling" power.

Whats your friends brother with 1200+rwhp Supra running on stock drivetrain because i know every single 1000+rwhp Supra probably in this nation...Also stock 6sp Supra can't hold that kind of power, the only guy thats got just a lil over 1200+rwhp is Ryan Woon which is the worlds fastest 6sp Supra which is at 1220+rwhp before nitrous, with nitrous over 1230+rwhp, but if you dont identify his name or his username on Supraforums AUTOMATIC BAN!
