Those are REAL launches. AWD=USELESS at those power levels. Like I said. One day you'll discover that you can't win an argument with physics or me.
ok, obviously the front tires do not come in to use when the they are in the air.... But Nathan the vid you posted here are some serious cars you cant compare that with the skylines. They also had some serious slicks. I am on your side when it comes to very high horse (I am talking enough to bring the front tires off the ground) but if not I would take AWD. and yes computers put lots of power to the rear in AWD. but when that front tire is up it is no use. Also, when the a car launches like that, all the wieght transfer goes to the back so basically the back tire is doing all the work. THis is when it comes to striaght line.

You cant call those launches slow tho lmao. yes compared to a 10000hp top fuel dragster.

Wow. I bet there are people all over getting tons of giggles out of you saying something that damn retarded.

If you are STILL stuck on proving AWD is superior in drag racing, I've got a plan. This way you can either prove me wrong or shut the fuck up with your elementary school banter. Go find THE FASTEST AWD going down the 1/4 that exists on this earth. Post it. And then I will find one of the thousands of RWD cars that are faster. Ready? Go.

Well considering you've been showing all videos of fucking skylines, i guess one can come to the conclusion that u dryhump AWD.

Next you fucking argue over an ITR interior compared to a C6 interior. Once again your dryhumping. The ITR interior is NOT BETTER. not favoring the chevy interior but dont be stupid.

And who gives a fuck about the fucking consumer reports. They cant test for shit! Why don't you go hitler on something else worth mentioning. Like your lack of intelligence on any vehiclular subject.

Inertia

The principle of inertia is one of the fundamental laws of classical physics which are used to describe the motion of matter and how it is affected by applied forces. The concept of inertia is today most commonly defined using Isaac Newton's First Law of Motion, which states:

Every body perseveres in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly straight ahead, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by forces impressed. [Cohen & Whitman 1999 translation]

The description of inertia presented by Newton's law is still considered the standard for classical physics. However, it has also been refined and expanded over time to reflect developments in understanding of relativity and quantum physics which have led to somewhat different (and more mathematical) interpretations in some of those fields.

What Inertia states in lamans terms is weight transfer on a automobil gets pushed to the rear of the car under acceleration. Under hard launches like what is being talked about here AWD in the end adds nothing but more weight, more moving parts to break, and more drive terrain loss down the line. A properly driven rwd car with the correct suspension setup with the same amount of power as a AWD car will win. AWD to me aleast what it is used for in the U.S. is nothing more than a way for people that can not drive to launch a car at a drag strip.

Why do you think there are a number of kits to convert AWD cars to RWD? Because the front wheels do not get traction on a high hp car, why do you think fwd's as a whole are at a destinct dis-advantage on the drag strip? Once again because the front wheels do not get traction. This is a stupid discussion in general, anyone that truely knows drag racing knows a RWD car is better.

Yes I understand the laws of physics, and you are right that I do not argue, however; If nathan states that awd can not be competitive on the strip he is wrong. the video I posted of the hks skyline proves that except it or not that is your choice. I also mentioned some things about the type r integra to simply prove that Honda builds higher quality automobiles, except it or not it is the truth. I do not come here to argue just simply add some proof to the picture. 1 can all wheel drive be competative on the strip? abosolutely yes, 2 do japanesse manufactures build higher quality cars than Chevy. Absolutely. so why is Nathan or others arguing with me, my conclusion is that thier love for American cars have blured thier vision. For those that believe that Consumer Reports doesn't know jack is a sign of ignorance, this is the same magazine that exposed the Acura TL tranny problem and they were right. And for those that think the c6 interior is better quality than Hondas Integra Type R please explain instead of just throwing a comment out there.

Quote me, fuckhole. I said it IS competetive at low power levels or on street tires. And that is the ONLY way it's competetive. That shit you posted couldn't hold a candle to a RWD car of the same power level.

And do you HONESTLY think there is even a slight competition between this:

and the ITR's interior? What a retarded fanboy you are.

And quit trying to take the high ground. You came into this thread yesterday trying to say the new Z06 is a pile of shit, etc., and got your ass destroyed. Just face the fact... you are a fucking idiot and EVERYONE here knows it. Why don't you go back and read your posts in different threads and see how many intelligent Honda owners are saying the same kind of thing about you.

Yep, that interior would be the only real reason I'd upgrade to a C6 Z06, as the performance difference can be solved for far less money and I like the exterior of mine better. And my interior, BTW, isn't what I would call worse than an ITR. The material quality is slightly lower, but the layout is FAR better.
